We went last June, self catering, but I didnt want to cook this year so went this year Half Board in June and it was great, we stayed in a standard room, which was fine, we only paid 190 for the week, for 2 adults and one 5 year old it was great value! The food was excellent, fried breakfast every morning and my little one ate all of her tea! The entertainment was great, we had to queue to get into the evening entertainment, but only as I wanted to sit right at the front so I could see my little one dancing! She loved it, the swimming pool was great, perfect for swimmers and non swimmers! All of the staff were very friendly and the resort was clean. I would definetly recommend Skegness Butlins to my family. The only bad point was travelling, we went by National Express, the coach was smelly, dirty and they were late.
