I have just tried to cancel my agreement with Unicom Phone Company after 3 years. Only to be told because I did not give them 3 months notice in writing, they have entered me into a further 3 year contract and will charge me for 30% of my expected charges in this 3 year term. - And worse still it appears to be legal.
Also the call charges are not as cheap as they appear -Ask about 0845 numbers.
I would give them a zero star rating, but this web site will not let me.

I found this review very helpful because...i am in exactley the same position. I did not realise that two months ago i entered into a 'rolling contract'. They also stated they sent out a letter in JuLY 2008 to inform me of my new contract, not even sure we received this. Our initial contract was in the written form so technically this is the first rolling contract so wonder whether they have broken their original terms and conditions. Have asked for a copy of original contract. Will definately never use this company again.
