I returned a Gamo Recon because I was unhappy with the accuracy and erratic velocity.The Big Cat is a very good rifle for the money. You won't win any Olympic medals with it but it is accurate enough to eliminate any unwanted vermin in your back yard. I am getting about 1 inch 5 round groups at 15 yards with it. The power is excellent and although I haven't chronoed it yet I have yet to have a bird survive a hit. If you are looking for an inexpensive rifle with higher end performance this is the one.
