Initial contact was at the Wyevale Showroom in Derby - the lady there only knew about roof and styles but vague about anything to do with building materials, lead times or planning.

A warning if you've had a previous extension the planning permission rules are from the original building line not the extended one - our salesman sold us the conservatory on the basis it would be constructed in within 6-8weeks and we didn't need planning. We did!

If you need planning permission you need to chase Anglian the policy is that they don't put in for permission until the cooling off period has passed. I was extrememly annoyed about this and would have cancelled if I wasn't 1 day over when I found out.

The Sales Manager asked me to prompt him when planning was through - never heard to customer service obviously - I've done that today. Given that we are now 7weeks since I signed the documents I thought that the Sales Manager would phone me back with a timeline. Apparantly it doesn't work like that ...they chase someone up who then chases somebody else up who then speaks to the people who need to know who then call me. When is anybodys guess.

It's a nice product from what I've seen and just to give you a guide on price...a bench mark might help others...I am paying £13k for a 4x3.5m stretched Victorian with normal glas roof, dwarf wall on two sides and 8 openers.
