We had an old conservatory which we had been looking at replacing. We had several quotes and decided on Easyfit. They were not the cheapest but the Salesman made us feel that they were a professional company which we could rely on. The Salesman told us we can have the conservatory fitted beginning of June and we would not start paying until end of September when our finances would increase to pay for it. The conservatory arrived in kit form and over a period of just over a month from when it arriving it was up. The finance company started taking the money before the conservatory was finished. We spoke to the finance company and they had already paid Easyfit. We made numerous telephone calls to Easyfit and they assured us they would resolve the situation with the finance company. What Easyfit do not tell you is that they charge you from the date the conservatory is delivered and do not give you 30 days from completion. The Salesman has accepted that he made a mistake and would honour the payments until September. They have sent a cheque for the first months money but they are now not prepared to pay the remainer as they do not accept that this is their responsibility. We were unable to afford the conservatory at this time but was prepared to waited until September because we already had a conservatory. We only had the conservatory at this time because the Salesman convinced us that the first payment would start at the end of September. There is a mark(looks like tar) on the glass but they are not prepared to investigate at this time. I do not recommend this company because the service is very poor and they do not care about customer satisfaction. We were also sold that the finance is at a fixed rate but later found out that this is not at a fixed rate of interest. My advise is to read the small print and do not believe everything that is told to you.
