Hired a car from Car-Hire-UK.com and later regretted not checking the company out on the Internet. To cut a long story short any over seas visitors renting a car from this company will be lucky to see their deposit again.
Check the company out on Google and you will see trading standards have regular dealings with this company. It took me 3 months to get my deposit back but it seems the number of complaints against this company is catching up with them. Trading Standards and the credit card companies are the best option if you find your deposit not being returned.

    I found this review very helpful because...I was also a victim. Like you I failed to check them out on the Internet before hiring a car from them. The web site is very professional but like a friend who works in IT told me it's very easy to set up a professional looking web site.
    To many complaints regarding this company for it to be legitimate.
