TEMPUR : I have had one of the early 'models' of this rip-off mattress, for some 6 years. It is hugely overpriced, will help some back sufferers (it did me at first) but with only light use will deteriorate much earlier than their flaky guarantee period ! I say flaky because if you try to claim compensation (mine was badly cracked and stopped offering the pressure relieving it boasts)you are only offerd an inspection and subsequent offer where you are required to cough up a still large amount for a new mattress with a reduction, dependent on how old it is ! But you have to sign a disclaimer prior to it being taken away which presumably means you then HAVE to pay. I stated I wanted actual money because I wanted to buy a different make but they declined. So what kind of a guarantee is this ?
I chucked it out and bought a perfectly fine one elsewhere at a third of the price. That is what I would recommend to everyone else. Tempur are overpriced and have poor customer service and worthless guarantees. I rest my case......
