Honda SH300i - www.admindeal.com.bd/ Review

I bought the honda SH300i to commute 25 miles each way to London and it has been excellent. My MPG has always been between 70 and 80. Before this bike I always had a motorbike and not a scooter but I found it a pain in the stop start traffic of London. The SH300i is so hassle free with no clutch or gears. It also means for nipping about you can accelerate quickly without hesitation as you don't need to worry about what gear you are, you just open up the throttle. Obviously in this respect it's the same as other scooters but having a 279cc engine makes a huge difference.



I had the screen, hand guards and heated grips fitted and this makes it a usable all year bike. The screen makes a big difference and means you can sit at 70mph with no problems. Without the screen at higher speeds it's very blowy so if you intend to use Motorways or Dual Carriageways you should definitely consider fitting one. Handling is great and the ABS brakes give loads of confidence, great on wet days when cars pull out!



The SH300i is slower to pull away for the first couple of seconds compared to a motorbike as you obviously can't rev up and drop the clutch. It's more than quick enough to move away from cars at the lights though.



Handling is great and the rear suspension is 5 way adjustable. I leave it reasonable soft but it does mean you can't ride flat out around roundabouts!



The bike was kept outside all winter and I have had no rust problems. Every other bike I owned showed decay even after 1 year.
