What an absolutely bloomin brilliant book 'The Tent, The Bucket and Me is.'Emma Kennedy should be applauded for this creation as it demonstrates how easily how life's experiences can be put down on paper for all to enjoy. The book is based on Emma's family and their various holiday nightmares throughout her childhood and is told in a conversational style which just leaves you wanting more. The book is amusing and laugh out loud funny in places and is an easy going page turner that will leave you with a warm glow. It will also bring back many a memory if like her (and me!) you too went on lots of camping holidays with your parents whilst growing up. I would seriously recommend this book to anyone. Don't expect an intellectual masterpiece but if you want a good book to settle down with that is funny and easy to read then The Tent The Bucket and Me is a must. Thoroughly enjoyable.
