I bought the B&Q own brand pressure washer and after only using it a couple of times water started gushing from the handle. I evenetually took it to bits and discovered that part of the O ring had slipped out of its seating. Tried in vain to get a replacement O ring. Out of curiosity I used the same size O ring from the rear of the valve unit - within 5 minutes it started gushing water ... same issue as before and I didn't find any reason for it - no ridges etc inside the lance. Looks like poor design - the valve doesn't slide in and out in a true line. Don't buy it!

Have exactly the same problem - apparently no cure. Either try to purchase a new gun or a new washer.

i did actually change the seal in the handle but that was a complete waste of time as it seems to be made of a poor quality plastic and does not want to seal once it has leaked
