As a typical fair-skinned Celt, I've tried a lot of moisturisers with a hint of tan. Garnier Summerbody Moisturising Lotion gives the best colour and lasts pretty well. I actually use the one for darker skin as I really don't notice much difference using the fair one - it doesn't seem to build up to a decent colour. The smell isn't bad as tanning products go. Go easy with the amount of lotion you apply otherwise it doesn't really sink in and leaves you feeling tacky all day. Another bonus was it didn't give me spots on my chest which Dove did.
