Good Points

The tour managers were always cheerful and with a smile on their faces. The food served was Indian and therefore is a major plus point of this tour. The food quality was very good. The catering manager and his staff were friendly and saw to it that all guests were satisfied.


Bad Points

Too many churches were included for sight-seeing. The Vatican is sufficient for a group which has no Catholic or Christian tourist. Secondly, the shopping time given was not scheduled properly. Visits to places like glass factory, or perfume factory were a waste of time (in my opinion). In Paris, the visit to Eiffel Tower in the morning only for photos was an utter waste of time since we were scheduled to go to the top of the tower in the afternoon anyway. The afternoon visit was the last item of the last day of our tour when the tour managers were changed as Taj Tours wanted them to attend to a new tourist group ! This resulted in a disconnect between us and the new managers. The new managers were rather aloof, did not communicate with the group properly.


General Comments

Our Europe trip from 9th to 25th May 2009 conducted by Taj Tours was excellent. All the hotels were good and so the stay was comfortable. The tour managers were friendly and courteous. The major tourist spots were covered.
For people not interested in shopping, some alternative programme perhaps can be given as an option, for example, visit to a museum or art gallery in which not all are interested !
Paris is famous for Art but there was no visit to any art gallery. Even the time allocated for the Louvre was insufficient. But on the whole, the trip was very good and I have no hesitation in recommending Taj Tours to Indian tourists.
