Good Points

Village pub serving pub nearby. Various place within half an hours drive worth visiting - Sidmouth, Beer, Seaton, Budleigh Salterton. Found a pub called Saddlers Arms in Lympstone that did a lovely Carvery.

General Comments

Went to Devon Cliffs for a sun break Sept 2008 and are going again in Sept this year with the Mail holidays. Am wriitng this after reading some of the reviews on this site which in my opinion are a little unfair. The location of the site is really good and I thought that the entertainment complex was well planned out - the bars were what you would expect them to be at a complex such as this. We used this site as a base . Foud the site clean, quiet at night, caravan was clean, could have done with updating but for what we paid represented excellent value for money. Lovely beach on the doorstep, If weather was good, you could spend all day on there with children. We are a couple in their 50's who had a lovely weekend (weather was superb so we were probably spoiled!)
