General Comments
Please be really careful if you opt for purchase and installation of a Homebase kitchen - the product is good but my installation was appalling and they charged double that of independent fitters - I have been trying to settle my dispute with them for 6 months and they couldn't care less - so long as they get your money, they are not bothered about the quality of service. For me this has been a really stressful experience and I would not recommend them to anyone. The kitchen planners are not sufficiently knowledgeable about the product and they do not liase properly with fitters to ensure that the kitchen will actually fit your space. Once the installation has started, there is no project manager to oversee the quality of the work and it is left to the customer to assess things for themselves. If there is a problem, they are very slow to resolve matters.
