Good Points

It's only an hour from where we live


Bad Points

Cost to get in, obnoxious kids under absolutely no control, uninterested, souless staff. Car park looks like a poorly maintained pebble beach with no obvious markings for you to located your vehicle.


General Comments

Just spend today at Thorpe Park. Four adults and no kids. Arrived at 10.30am and left at 5.30pm. In total we queued for a total of four hours out of the 7 hours we were there. Of the remaining 3 hours- 1 hour was spend eating substandard food and drink at exhorbitant prices. 1 hour was spend wandering around the poorly directed site and 1 hour was spend getting in and then leaving the site (that was after we had luckily re-located our car)

Went on 3 of the major rides, but gave up on SAW due to aching back, feet and legs from the excessive queuing.

Agree with previous comments about Florida and even Disneyland paris regarding queueing times- a LOT shorter.

We particularly went today to avoid the kids and HOW wrong can you be? The place was awash with unruly kids seemingly skiving off school BUT also organised school trips as well. Remember this is only a week or so before the kids are off for 6 weeks anyway!!!!!! Complete waste of time and agree about the exploitation of the Fast Track option............it is simply not it the sites interest to speed up/reduce the queuing time when they can charge a further £4.00 PER RIDE for a fast track. Remember this it in addition to the £35.00 you have already paid for the privilege to join a 90 minute queue.
