not customer friendly, inflexible and not willing to help customers through this recession.


General Comments

we were sold a mortgage on a fixed rate iwth accord mortagages. unfortunately my husband lost his job almost at the end of the fixed rate and we fell behind 2 months and have since bought it up to be very quickly but because of this they have refused to let us go onto another rate and with the market being as it is, it is difficult to move with every lender restricting lending. their standard variable rate still remains at 5.35% and they have not passed on hardly any rate cuts. i have complained numerous times and asking to go onto another product but they have refused and now when i look on their site, there remains but 3 different products. i believe the broker sold this mortgage to us because of the commission he was collecting, we told him we were wary of having a mortgage with a non-standard lender and how right we were.
