Have been using for less than a week and already my nipples actually protrude a bit ALL DAY and have not retracted back at all after removing the niplette. I am amazed. I have never ever seen my nipples look like this. I am hoping they come out more but even if they dont I am much happier with them now sticking out a little rather than being completely flat pre-niplette.
Bad Points
I wear them at night, and it's not easy but you can still sleep on your tummy. I always sleep on my tummy so was determined to make it work! Make sure they are properly sealed on and put on a thick padded bra and if necessary lie with a pillow under your head and a pillow under your groin so essentially your chest isn't directly laying on the bed but is held up a bit. 8 times out of 10 I will wake in the morning with the niplettes still attached.
The thick padded bra also works as far as concealling the niplette under clothes in the day.
General Comments
The Avent Niplette is absolutely BRILLIANT!! Try it - trust me it WORKS! My nipples have always been totally flat, retracting completely when I'm cold and my arelola puffs up entirely covering my nipples altogether. I HATED them. Whilst my friends would all sunbathe topless on girly hols abroad I NEVER got mine out due to nipple hatred! This is a silly price for a couple of bits of plastic but well worth it!!
