Open sound, very clean separation. Upgraded by using external Alchemist DAC and using Nordost Pulsar Points underneath.
Bad Points
If faulty needs to be sent to France and can take upto 6 months to return.
General Comments
With the current upgrade, my Micromega Stage 5 CD player sounds better than the Naim CDX.
Sound quality the same as BOW Wizard (£3500)

Hardly a review on a stage 5 is it ?
External DAC + Pulsar points add how much to the basic player...............

Mostly Audio - Review
I then moved on to a MicroMega Stage 1 this was a big improvement on the Marantz. The MicroMega started playing up so I began using my Sony DVP-7700 DVD player - and got a surprising improvement.

A load of balls:-cheap upgrade
I put milty foculpods under my Micromega Stage 5 on the glass shelf of a Sound Org Rack and got significant improvements. These cost £9.50 on Ebay.
