Good Points

The bike has one of the most adjustable suspensions out there (preload, high speed compression, low speed compression, high speed rebound, low speed rebound, dampning). Slipper clutch from the factory (a $2,400 option on many other bikes), steering dampner from the factory.
Horsepower to spare, you'll never need more on the street.
Three positions for the rearsets.
More aftermarket parts available for this bike than any other.
At 65 miles per hour on the highway average fuel economy is 63 miles per gallon.

Bad Points

Battery is quite small, and in the winter can be killed by the cold (when not running) in a few hours.
Must use at least 93 octane fuel because of the high engine compression. Best performance on Sunoco 260 GT 100 octane fuel. Using lower octane fuel results in severe engine knock and seriously reduced fuel economy.

General Comments

An incredible machine with so much power as to knock you out. I'm not kidding, you have to hold your breath and squeeze your chest to force blood into your head because a hard twist of the throttle on my 2006 GSX-R750 causes everything to go white as the the blood is forced to the back of your head. It was quite a shock the first time it happened!
