Good Points

They were fairly quick to reply the messages I sent them, even though their messages were simply to say that the computer said I couldn't increase my balance. Other than that, no good points.


Bad Points

Everything as detailed in my comment. Their customer service is terrible, since if the computer doesn't say they can do it, then there's not a chance in hell they're gonna know what to do. I wouldn't even waste your time ringing them up.


General Comments

Terrible service - typical company relying on computer systems to do all their work for them and no human interaction. I have a poor credit history, so naturally my available balance started low. I asked Capital One Classic for this to be raised, and was told this would happen after my fourth statement should I manage my account well. I managed my account well, yet after my fourth statement I was given a measly £100 increase. They may as well not have bothered. I can comfortably afford the repayments on my wage, yet because "the computer says no", they won't do anything. I will be swiftly transferring my balance to another card with the hope i'll get better service there.
