The Girls at customer sevices understood it was unacceptable and did what they could even giving me the address to wrie to complain.

They don't seem to know what they are doing. Furniture made to order, well lets be honest it can't be can it otherwise it would be here!!!!! They took money for that goods that didn't ever exist. They were not willing to loan furniture while i waited for new goods. £40 good will after all their mistakes!!!! Rude line manager. Worst service I have ever recived!!!

I ordered furniture for my childrens bedroom from M&S. I waited 3 months and phoned the day before the origanl delivery date given. I was imformed the goods were not avalibe but they would look into it. They phoned back with a delivery date for the following week. I was called on the friday and informed that it would be delivered on the Tuesday. They asked if the room could be cleared so the furniture could be assembeled. On the Sunday I removed all the furniture from the bedroom and took it to the skip. On the Monday morning I recieved a phone call to say only half the delivery was avaliable would ibe willing to accept, i repied noand asked that someone called me back. I recieved a phone call to say it would need re-ordered and given a telephone number to call Marks and Spencers direct. I called only to be told the range was discontniued and was not avaliable. (however they had takep ayment for these goods). They were prepared to reorder a different range but his would take a further 9 weeks and was £100 more expensive. however they would wave the £100 as a good will gesture. (how very good of them!!!!) I informed them that I had 3 children with no bedroom furniture and was not prepared to wait a further 9 weeks. I was informed i could have a full refund with a £40 gift card as a good will gesture!!! £40 I had destoryed all the bedroom furniture worth approx £300 becaue he told me to clear the room. The Customer services were very apologetic at grass routes level ad could understand that this was unacceptable and put me through to a manager who was unhelpful and rude. I am disgusted at the attitude of the manager and the offer of £40, I choose M&S as i belived them to be reliable and good quality. My Advice NEVER EVER order from Marks and Spencers
