Good Points
Good as a base and excellent Chinese Takeaway down the road (dont use the Takeway on site)

Bad Points
Dirty caravans, dirty site, Extremely hilly. Poor swimming pool and dirty changing rooms. Full of chavs with tatoos and cheap gold.

General Comments
Just come back from 4 nights at the Parkdean Caravan site at Torquay. We used the park as a base only. The site is extremely hilly (they dont advertise this!) and is dirty. The Caravan we stayed in was filthy and faulty (pilot light kept going out leaving us with no hot water, great in the shower!) Swimming pool was small and changing rooms wet & dirty. Didnt bother with the entertainment but the chavs on the park loved it. I havnt seen so many tatoos and elizabeth duke gold in my life. We went on a Sun holiday there (could explain the chavs) and paid £9.50 for the week - it wasnt worth anymore than this. There are plenty of better parks around.
