General Comments
Greens gym in Croydon is not the greatest. Far better gyms, don't waste your money. Staff are rude and unprofessional. The fob key system is a pain and you find that half the time it doesn't work. Also because your programmes are programmed onto the key you find that you tend to stick with the programme rather than pushing yourself to your maximum. Virgin Active is a little cheaper than Greens. Virgin is also a lot more modern and cleaner. Gym facilities are better too. Greens gets really packed on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and it can be difficult to get on the equipment you want to. Some of the younger reception staff can be surly. You don't feel particularly welcomed by them. Almost as if you are on a factory conveyor belt. This gym has a long way to go in order to match the standards of Virgin Active and Esporta. I know this because I have been a member of Greens and had trials at both Esporta and Virgin. Even Nuffield (was Cannons) In Norbury is better and cheaper. A lot of members are leaving Greens due to slipping standards.
