Good Points

Good points, cleanliness of rooms and hotel generally. Restaurant pleasant, food attractively presented, plentiful, show cooking, childrens area, varied and tasty. Pool area clean and well maintained. Fun slides for the kids. Entertainment staff friendly.

Bad Points

Not enough activities for kids unless in kids club which was indoors and seemed for younger kiddies.

General Comments

Having read mixed reviews on trip advisor and being unsure of Bulgaria as a holiday destination, we were quite worried about what to expect. What a lovely surprise! The atlas is immaculately clean throughout, the rooms are light and airy, the food was tasty and varied and the staff as courteous to you as you were to them i.e. ignorant guests who were no doubt often rude (mainly non uk) to them made them less likely to be smiley and friendly, however, once they were treated with good manners they were lovely. The entertainment staff were great, young, cheerful and friendly- a lack of daytime activities for kids an only downpoint, they seemed to prefer roping in the adults to do cocktail games by the pool instead. We never felt vunerable or unsafe, even when we occasionally went out at night and the so-called 'Ladies of the Night' were not in evidence, as had been mentioned on other reviews. The resort was impressive, a lot of effort had gone into the main centre on the front. We honestly couldn't fault it. I would definately return both to The Atlas and Bulgaria itself.
