Expedia - www.expedia.com Review

IM OUT $870 DUE TO EXPEDIA!!! I recently booked a trip to mexico through Expedia in which one of the flights was later canceled. They offered to rebook the return or refund my account for the entire trip. I choose to take the refund because i was not able to return on the earlier date. I was given a conformation # and told the $ would be returned to my account within 7 to 10 days. Little did I know that I would never see that $ again. I have spent over 12 HOURS ON THE PHONE with Expedia who are now trying to blame Mexicana Airlines for the entire problem. I booked through Expedia, paid through Expedia, not Mexicana. Its been over 3 months and the only chance I have to possibly see my money again is to dispute the charge though my credit card which I am in the process of.

My family has also had many issues with expedia. My dad arrived at the airport for an overseas flight only to find that Expedia issued a flight # that didnt exist. My brother also booked with expedia to Italy and was given conntecting flights that were scheduled to depart before the first flight was scheduled to arrive???? I know Expedia offers some good specials but no one in my family will ever book with them again.!!!! HORRIBLE!!!
