Bad Points

When ordering I had intended buying the Red body but the sales agent put me off by saying that the colour was more Pink than red and advised the Black one. Unfortunately the Black model is actually Brown. To exchange the camera for the Red model would have cost me somewhere in the region of £10 - £12 in postage and packing. I now have a Brown camera which I call Bronze. I must say that I actually find the Bronze model quite 'Posh'!


General Comments

Bought a Canon SX200 IS on the 30 June via Warehouse Express phone ordering. Camera arrived 1 July.
The sales agent was extremely helpful. When I took the SX200 IS from the box I was immediately struck by the build quality and the excellent styling; very understated and elegant. The cast aluminium body gives good weight and feel.
The camera is better than I expected. Great macro; especially in manual mode, excellent results in all conditions. To pick up the 'faults' that some reviewers revel in exposing, you would have to print a picture several feet square and, of course, all cameras suffer in much the same way.
I also find it quite easy to use the LCD in bright sunlight, much better than any other camera that I have used.
All in all a very excellent, stylish camera. Love it!
