Bad Points

- Poor Communication Between Departments
- Change items on policy without notice
- Dont care if you lost your job, they will chase you for insurance when you dont have a car
- Will close files, even though claim not complete
- Took 8 months to finish 1st claim, but because second was non insured they finished it in 1 and I took the brunt financially.


General Comments

Swinton is the worst insurance ever, works through several companies including bullseye, swinton, gateway.

Had 2 non fault claims with this company, first one the curtesy car sent me a letter saying if I didnt return car by x date I would be charged ( Even though I am supposed to have it untill claim completed, I did not even know if I car was a write off ). Then they closed the claim down when they got their money, NOT MINE.

2nd claim, was an uninsured driver, was taken to town on that claim, was told I would have to pay £525 out of my own wallet. Eventually car written off, lost 525 excess, was adviced MIB would not be able to help. Looked in paperwork, called and asked them to check the call, aparrently the call had vanished.
