General Comments

Could go on for pages, but to keep it brief, recieved a beautiful diamond engagement ring from my boyfriend, it was far too big, this i know is quite normal, so after showing it off for two days had to take it back, i knew but did'nt quite understand that i was going to have a completely new ring made, would have been happier having the original resized. I had to wait a month which i accepted with no problem. I phoned the day it was due back and it hadn't arrived in, gave it an hour and a half and then miraculusly the ring had arrived in at that precise moment, strange but glad it was there so went to collect it. Took the ring away and although i loved it was never quite sure, the band to me was much narrower than the original, and the ring felt too big, thinking i was paranoid just tried not to think about it. I went in a few weeks later to purchase a wedding ring, while in the store said that i felt my ring was too big, the lady measured it and sure enough the ring was a size bigger than ordered. So after waiting a month i was now going to have to part with it again, to this stage no apology at all for the inconvenience, i asked if i could have discount on my wedding ring for this problem that was not my fault but was told they don't give discount. The next day a call from the store, who tells me they have the ring in my correct size in the safe, how convenient, not by any chance the ring i was meant to have the 1st time, i think so. Through all of this i never felt any of the two assistants tried or cared at all. After considering asking for the money back decided i wanted to keep the ring my boyfriend chose for me, so now three rings later, i love my ring but would never step foot in any h samuels again, and am getting my wedding ring from a much more professional jewellers.
