I've been on them all before...I've tried Lighterlife and Cambridge but although I lost lots of weight ( nearly 5 stone in 3 months on lighterlife )it all went back on. The problem with complete abstinence is that as soon as you start eating again, your body starts storing the fat etc incase theres another hunger strike and you could put it all back on quickly.
Allaboutw8 is similar, with some meal packs, but I have been having milk (important for calcium), one meal a day, and two snacks of friut or veg. I lost 11.5lbs last week for my first week, and it's a lot cheaper than Lighterlife too. Well worth a try.
