Good Points
Rifle is very acurate

Bad Points
I bought a combo with scope. I could not be any more upset with scoped rifle. I can not stop scope from moving to the rear after a few shots. I took off the rings rhat came with this combo and installed rws one piece mount with rings with two side screws to fasten scope mount to dove tail.
also has two screws that tighten on top of mount down to top of rifle and mount still moves down dove tail groves to back of rifle. I don't know if it's from the light weight of rifle or from a good strong kick, but I am not pleased with trying to keep a scope on my shadow 1000.

Over all the Gamo Shadow 1000 is a good hard shooting rifle.
