Good Points

Very friendly and helpful staff
Delicious food
Good variety of menu options
Very reasonably priced
Comfortable seating
Pleasant decor and atmosphere
Good supply of newspapers


Bad Points

Very popular cafe so it can get busy. Not normally too much of a wait though as the staff are extremely quick at serving.


General Comments

We've been going to Upstairs Cafe and Gift Shop for about 5 years and the quality of food and service has been consistently the best we've found in any cafe. In fact we like it so much that we've even made the 200 mile round trip just to have Sunday lunch there!

Particularly recommend the tea latte and the steak pie.
