At first I thought the prices were reasonable compared to larger companies, but this proved to be false economy.
Bad Points
The standard of fitting especially on the interior woodwork was very poor, in my experience expect every attempt to be made not to honour the guarantee especially after 12 months. Never accept the word of the salesman or tradesman, have every detail of the guarantee written in plain english ,if you don't understand it don't pay.
General Comments
After the Perfect Glazing Glasgow salesman told us that the windows had a 10 year guarantee, little did I realise that this was only for the UPVC frame and not for the glass panel, which has a guarantee of only 12 months. This is very misleading. Perfect Glazing of Glasgow will give you no goodwill whatsoever, the window panel was broken after they fitted it incorrectly, but as every consumer knows, being legally right does not mean that you have the money or opportunity to take a case to court and therefore a company like this will continue to offer a service that is a gamble. If you use a reputable company you will have 10 years of peace of mind, I am paying for my own repairs just a few years in and I can assume it will only get worse as the windows age.I would not have used this company with hindsight.
