Paid £837 for daughters plate to Newreg.com and then £25 to a Po Box address at DVLA? for an extension to the assignment of the plate (as informed on the back of their certificate) until she is 17 in Jan 09. Noticed the cheque to DVLA was not cashed after 3 weeks so contacted Newreg ( premium rates) and informed it must have been rejected (but no reason) They have now asked for a cheque for £55 for the extension and need this within 7 days of Plate will be void. As a trading standards officer will be watching their dealings closely, along others.
