Fake Bake Self Tan Cream

“I'm not sure if my bottle has gone off or something -...”

Written on: 03/07/2009

Good Points
It's tinted to help achieve an even tan.

Bad Points
Smells really bad, colour guide is too dark and when you wash it off the tan is very light.

General Comments
I'm not sure if my bottle has gone off or something - the Fake Bake lotion smells like wet dogs, and that's before I've even put it on my skin! It's very messy, it's tinted so you know where to put it which is good, but the colour is very dark and looks like mud, way too dark for my skin. When I showered the next morning, there was hardly any colour left - which is good because the colour guide made my skin look dirty and I'm not sure what I would have done if I'd been stuck with that muddy colour for the best part of a week. I think you'd have to apply it 3-4 days in a row to achieve a dark tan.
