Good Points
The organisation by Orbital, the weather, the cultural visits, the boat and the view from the boat when cruising the Nile.

Bad Points
5 hour flight.

General Comments
We had been planning to do a Nile cruise for years but never got round to it. This year we finnaly achieved our aim on the MS Monica with Orbital Travel

It is definitely the best "culture" holiday we have been on. The organised visits were excellent and although tired at the end of each day, we felt it was well worth it. The tour guides were excellent very friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions. Seeing Karnak definitely being the highlight along with a boat trip to see the birds that inhabit the banks of the nile.

The whole holiday had a very smooth feel about the organisation. Buses were never late to or from the airport or on trips. We had been warned about how everybody expects a tip in Egypt. The Orbital system of collecting money at the beginning of the week and the tour guides looking tipping is a great idea.

The bedrooms were fine, clean but functional - everything worked. Each day they were cleaned by cabin staff.

The food was in most cases excellent - the hot food was hot and there was plenty of choice. The fresh omellettes and pancakes at breakfast were excellent. Free wine with lunch and dinner was very good. We went for the all-inclusive option which was well worth it.

Overall the holiday, the organisation, the boat, the food are hard to fault. I would definitely go back and do the holiday again.
