Good Points

Absolutely none.


Bad Points

Call centre in India. Agents had very poor English and difficult to understand.
The price I was quoted was not the price they took out of my bank.
Being constantly placed in a queue.
Having to wait up to 14 days for a refund


General Comments

Do not go with holiday autos. I have just had a terrible experience with them. Booked a car on Saturday for my holiday at the end of July. After an hour on the phone, the agent retrieved a quote that I had originally been quoted a month before and said that he could still do it at this price. (£700) so I went ahead and booked it. Then when I checked my card statement 2 days later they had taken £150 more than they had originally quoted. This seemed unacceptable as this was not the price that they had told me they were taking over the phone. I called straightaway to tell them that they had made a mistake and taken too much. After almost another hour on the phone. I was told to call back the next day as there was no one there to do a refund. Then I was told that the agent had actually made a mistake and told me the old price and he had been mistaken in saying that I could still have it at that price. There was apparantly no way that I could have it at this price even though I had made a verbal contract on the phone with the agent. It was either pay the higher price or cancel it. So I cancelled it straightaway. At least 3 hours on the phone wasted with this incompetent company.
Now I have been told it could be upto 14 days for the refund to come through.

    fair enough, but seriously...this is the first time anything like has happend to you? Somehow I doubt it (sadly), as you checked your CC statement (smart move). Still a sad occurance, but, contextually, seems par for the course of todays universally shody customer service. If I believed another company would be better, I'd be amazed...unfortunately, it's probably SOP through-out the industry. At least they answered the phone, and provided a refund... I hope. Sad when that's a good sign, lol!
