Good Points
Everything about ship was good. Its getting on in years now and shows it in some respects but the captain described it as a grand old lady - that sums it up and with only 680+ passengers not too much crowding and queueing.

Bad Points
time ashore was a little rushed at times and the tours were in general adequate but probably not worth the high price (£60) for each tour. Will be more circumspect next time as to which tours to go on.

General Comments
Land of Midnight Sun cruise June 2009. First class itinerary, excellent organisation marred by having to share Tromso with another cruise liner with 1200 on board meant that all tourist destinations were jam packed. Not much company could do about this. Ships company excellent in every respect, friendly patient and cheerful. Food first class for canteen style eating. Went with mr. Bridge and highly recommend doing this to spend each evening in congenial company at the bridge table.
