Good Points
Fresh Produce, not the normal run of the mill pub grub. Treated with respect, and listen to special dietary requirements. Desserts to die for.
Bad Points
Cannot think of anything.
General Comments
Booked meal at the Boat Inn, Whitney-On-Wye for 16 people mid week and found the food to be of excellant quality. The staff were very polite, and listened to some of our group who had special dietary needs. They dealt with this without any fuss and my guests were very complimentary about the quality of the food served. All fish was fresh (not frozen) all pies hand made with fresh ingredients, vegetables cooked to perfection, chips prepared by hand not out of a packet, in fact the best meal they had ever had in a pub. Well done. It's nice to see someone go the extra mile and serve a meal to be remembered. A plus point for the surrounding countryside and of course if you are as lucky as us "otters" swimming in the River Wye and lots of other wild life. I highly recommend a visit. I am sure you won't be disappointed.
