General Comments

I have owned the gti tdi for 1 year now and coming from a line of BMW's and other hot hatches this is my first DIESEL and i have to say once you get used to the typical idle noise the car is really good, the speed is awesome once the turbo kicks in around 2500-3000 rpm all hell breaks loose, the mpg is amazing returning 40-48 urban and 50+ m/way miles. The reliability is so far perfect with mine being an 02 with 88000 on the clock. My only drawback is that most peolpe think i have stuck a GTI badge on a diesel car but im proud of my diesel and wouldnt mind a diesel badge on the back ( just so people know they have been left standing by a diesel hehehe) under the gti.
