Bad Points

Poor administration and misguided advice.


General Comments

I moved to Argos pet insurance last year, unfortunately I had to have my dog put to sleep in February of this year, Argos told me to submit a claim for his treatment prior to his death, treatment was £120, less £60 excess. I then received a letter asking for the rest of the years premium £240, despite them telling me to submit a claim. Needless to say this would have left out of pocket so I cancelled the claim. I received an apology and a £10 gift voucher. However I received a letter this Saturday (27/06/09) still demanding the £240. I spoke to their credit department on Saturday and was told it was an oversight and received a cursory apology. I also sent an e-mail to their customer services on the same day, but they have not had the decency to reply as of yet
