Love that it is automatic and so easy to handle
Plenty of storage
The instrument panel is fantastic
Plenty of "get up and go" to it. Goes fast when you need it to.
Dependable and comfortable to ride.
Fun to ride.
Bad Points
The driver backrest is too fat. Even though I am only 5'4" I still
felt cramped on the seat. I had a thinner backrest custom made
at an auto upholstry shop and I like that much better.
General Comments
I bought a 2005 Silver Wing in May 2005. It had 462 miles on it when I bought it. In the 4 years I have had it, I put 27,750 more miles on it. It has been a wonderful bike. I live in Tennessee and have made trips to Oklahoma and to Birmingham, AL and
had no problems at all. It just glides down the interstate so well and it handles mountain roads great, too. It is also good around town as I use mine to do my errands on when I can. I have just traded my '05 Silver Wing for the 2009 Silver Wing. I have always wished my scooter was red and the '09 model is Dark Candy Red and beautiful. I was going to have to have some work done on my scooter because I ran into my husband's Valkyrie and did some damage to it. We decided to just get the new one. My Honda dealer gave me a good trade-in deal on my 05 Wing. I LOVE my Silver Wing!
