The accommodation was good both at the resort and on the boat. There was a good dive school at El Quesir and the snorkelling was excellent too. The staff on the boat were efficient, courteous but great fun.
General Comments
Appalling adminstration system within the UK, especially with their 'hassle free' pick up service. On the outward flight, I only felt confident that I would be picked up at the right time when the taxi service called me to confirm the day before departure. On the return flight, when I arrived at Gatwick at 2.15am, I eventually discovered that the pick up service had been sent to the wrong terminal.
We flew with Thomson's Airlines - as a result of this holiday, I have decided that I will never travel with any organisation that uses them.
This was my first holiday with Saga. "From the Nile to the Red Sea". was a good combination of sightseeing and relaxation. I enjoyed the holiday but that was because of the group, the location and the facilities rather than the input from Saga.
