Overall Rating
- Value for money

- Customer service

- Have you made a claim?No
To be honest, thankfully not had to use Direct Line, so cannot comment on any good points of the policy.
If you are a new customer they will give you a cheap premium.
Bad Points
When you renewal is due, expect an astronomical increase from your 'New Customer' premium.
General Comments
We have two young dogs and fortunately have not had to use Direct Line Pet Insurance for anything.
Our premium is now due and we were amazed to find that our renewal was asking for a premium which was more than double what we paid a year ago. Our English Springer is 1 and our Weimaraner 8 months.
We phoned Direct Line to see if this renewal premium was correct and we were advised that it was, and that the previous premium was a new customer price. We asked if we could lower the premium, but they said no. The chap we spoke to then amazingly offered, without us saying anything, to cancel our policy!! Of course we said yes.
