General Comments

I put a deposit down on a new unregistered mercedes vito van on the 24th may 2009 at motorpoint burnley. Was told by the salesman it would be registered within a week. This came and went. Phoned the salesrep and was told there was a problem with the vans paperwork (he blamed mercedes) strange as motorpoint had the van at there burnley branch. They could not give me a delivery date.Rang back 3 weeks later to be told the saleman had left the company. Still they had no paperwork.Rang back AGAIN and AGAIN to be told still no paperwork. Finally rang today 30th June and demamded a phone call by 1.30pm. Received a call only to be told they needed yet another week and still could not confirm a delivery date. I CANCELLED the order there and then and demanded my deposit back. Went to a vauxhall dealership the same day and purchased a vivaro, i collect it friday only 4 days! Moral of the story motorpoint cannot deliver! It beggars belief that the motor industry can be asking the taxpayer for help when even now they still don't care about the customer who happens to be the taxpayer.Perhaps a spell of unemployment my sharpen some of these salesman up a bit.
