General Comments

I recently flew with Delta Airlines from London to New York JFK, JFK to Charlotte NC, Charlston SC to Cincicinnatti, Cincinnatti to London Gatwick.

I was very impressed with every flight i took with Delta after reading such bad reviews, which leads me to believe that people just complain for the sake of it! All flights bar the last were on time, but its an airport, flights get delayed for many reasons,(weather, problems with the plane?) Delta handled this well and we were kept on constant updates on what was happening, after an hour we boarded and everything was fine! When we arrived at Heathrow for the first leg of our journey we were greated by a very friendly Delta Staff Member who after learning i was not a good flyer moved me to a different seat near the front of the plane to get more room. We checked in with the electronic ticket desk which was quick and easy, we had a few problems (but it was a computer) but there was staff walking around everywhere who helped us through the stages. When we boarded the plane we were greated by all cabin crew who helped us to our seats, we then recieved complimentary, eye mask, ear plugs, pillow, blanket, and earphones! During our 7 hour flight we recived 2 meals which we didnt have to pay extra for, and drinks included pop, coffee, tea and wine was offered every 45 mins for free all flight.Everyone also had a touch screen television on the seat in front in the international flights, which had amazing entertainment from new movies to new serious of television dramas and music.
I was equally impressed with all other flights i took during my trip to USA.
Please do not be alarmed by all the other bad reviews on this site, i was extreemley worried about flying with Delta after reading the reviews especially as i am not a good flyer, but i was very impressed. It was very good value for money as i only paid just over £400 for all 4 flights. Obviously would have preffered to fly business class but very impressed for what i got for my money!

I am fully aware that people can have bad experiences on flights but you also have to remeber people only come on review sites to complain, i vowed that if i did have a good experience with Delta i would write about it, to help others out!
