Good Points
gives you the chance to improve your credit rating for people who are responsible enough to actually want to do this and who do not abuse the fact vanquis have been good enough to give you a card after you have clearly been turned down by everyone else.. or why else would you get a vanquis account?!

Bad Points
No bad points really.. obvious high interest rates, because of the high risk customers. vanquis would be stupid to give people with a terrible credit rating a card with a silly high limit and low interest rate.

General Comments
First of all an answer to a previous comment about the times where you can get in contact with someone at the Vanquis Bank Credit Card call center is open 8 til 8 mon to friday and 8 til half 5 saturday. and the reason why they were probably continuously calling you is because you were clearly in arrears and in breach of your credit agreement. so pay your bill on time and you wont get endless calls... simple.

I found this review very helpful because...although this person has had a good relation with vanquis and i do agree you have to pay all credit cards on time and cannot complain if you dont and they chase you for it.I haave a different problem with them i had a call from their fraud dept, re a free|||sample i aplied for there was nothing free about it andthey knew this and informed me by phone to change my card. So i went bsck to the customer service dept i had been speaking to before the call from the fraud dept of Vanquis. explained everything i had been told and to cancel my card and they would send me a new one very long time for them to send a new card out but i realised that it would take 7-10 dats this was on the 30th of july i was patient so called today the 12th Auugust to see when it was sent out only to be told "your card ahs been cancelled but no new card has been ordered for you???? so much for being patient fraud dept should have ordered it. Isaid this was not so as i had been put back to customer service as they could obviously see my card had been cancelled by the customer service dept; but no card ordered so guess wha i will have to wait another 7-10days for this and folks do you think when i phone up my card will have been sent otu dont hold your breath
