Good Points

Lovely settings, wildlife, lovely walks.


Bad Points

The evening entertainment ie a show is only on during July/August or easter. It would have been nice to see something like that, it got a bit boring after 3 nights.


General Comments

Center parcs sherwood forest is a very well run place. The beauty of it is that you can be sitting on your patio, watching the squirrels, rabbits and other wildlife (we saw a mole!) and you can't hear anything except the forest, yet you are surrounded by thousands of people. Children love the way the squirrells come to feed so take bags of nuts with you if you have young children..
The lodge we had was a bit worn around the edges and a bit dark but I have stayed at Sherwood before and had a better lodge, I guess it all depends on the luck of the draw.
Activites are numerous and there are various restaurants available. We particularly rated the Indian and the Italian restaurant, superb!
My two teenage boys (14) loved the swimming pool and their bikes.
