Good Points

Modern styling, cubed and crushed ice, chilled water on tap, good internal layout. Keeps food fresh far longer than the old Miele fridge we have. Not a vast freezer but great to view items without kneeling down and raking about.


Bad Points

To get it into the house the doors need to be removed, it is a big bit of kit. My experience has not been good but we have come to like this FF and want a new one that works. The worst aspect is Samsung Customer Service. Two months is too long to sort out a problem like this.


General Comments

Two months on and 5 engineer vists and 3 repairs later Samsung have agreed to replace my Fridge Freezer with a new one. The present one has the compressor running constantly until it needs to defrost, then all goes quiet, followed by a loud bang as the ice drops off inside and then the compressor starts up again. The Samsung Customer Service staff are strict about proceedure being followed, totally un-bending. My retailer offered to exchange the FF for another but Samsung said I needed three completed repairs before they would authorise an exchange. I like the Fridge Freezer and want one that works properly but they (Samsung) are awaiting delivery of new stock?? I would have thought they have stock in dealerships that they could call on.
