Good Points
Big oversize tyres for that superb balance and handling and a great seating position.

Bad Points
I owned a 95 Yamaha XV Virago750. The chrome on most jap bikes seem to exceed most bike finishes and can last a lifetime if looked after, my Virago was testament to that.. The chrome on the America certainly looks good and cleans up well however, the extra chrome additions available from Triumph do appear to be of poor quality and the finish is very poor if not sub standard. I have a rear rack and pannier from Triumph and the welds are "crap" and you just know from experience that it will flake within a few years....Experience talking!
Would like to see Triumph tackle a shaft driven Bonnie in its class. OOOO I hear all you Triumph die hards, but you have to move on and the shaft driven system has more benefits than the chain drive and it would re-invent the wheel again for Triumps top end cc Cruiser bikes.

General Comments
I am echoing most of the recent comments about the Triumph Bonneville America, a well built bike, great handling, great power and superb looks (I own the Pacific Blue n New England white). 2007 model, 865bhp.
