General Comments

I have ordered from Dwell on two occasions previously. The third time I ordered from the company, I received poor customer service.

I ordered some furniture on behalf of my partner for two flats he owns outside London. I first tried to do this online, but because the delivery address and the address to which my card was registered were different, Dwell was unable to process the transaction. I had to go to a store eventually and order the furniture. Come delivery, my partner was unable to take delivery and had informed the Dwell delivery person the day before. This person still tried to make the delivery the next day, I can't think why when he knew that nobody would be there! The Customer Services person I spoke to was unable to help and said that we would be charged for again for delivery. She also claimed that my partner had been called to arrange re-delivery, but no such call was in fact received. She also seemed quite happy to give me a refund instead of delivering the furniture without the delivery charge. A further inconvenience, Customer Services is not equipped to give refunds over the phone and I had to go into the store where I had bought the goods to get my refund.
